The look of… helping children
Children are among those hurt most by the changing dynamics of families enduring divorce or separation. In order to help build confidence and encourage peace of mind, Family Life Services provides resident children with a safe place to heal from past hurts. The Child and Youth Program offers individual and group counseling along with monthly activities designed to strengthen community and family relationships.
You can become a part of the team that shapes a child’s hope for the future. Some of the ways you can support immediate needs in the Child and Youth Program are:
- volunteer to mentor a young person (men and women needed)
- make a financial contribution to better equip recreation areas
- donate tickets for outings to area attractions
- provide a large van for group transportation
Family Life Services is dedicated to ministering to the well-being of our residents, as well as children and youth in the community who are caught in abuse.
